suggestions on h23a valve cover ? ?

im very active in the show scene. im lookin for a nice h23a1 valve cover. i dont wanna paint it cuz i always see that and never looks too good and is a lil ricey to me. i always thought that a cf valve cover would be sweet. i dont want chromed b/c i dont want bling bling ****. any suggestions? maybe a website that sells a nice valve cover in cf or a nice color or maybe a type of shop that can do this for me. thx.

I've been looking for the same, but have NEVER found a c/f valve cover for an H23. I really want to find a place that sells H23 covers already chromed, b/c I don't have the time to have my car sit around for a week or two while it's current cover gets chromed.

nobody makes a cf valve cover for any h series motor, and the only aftermarket h23 valve cover is just anodized and it looks like ass... i would just paint it and take my time and do it right and just dont do it some flashy color..

Yours is a hell of a lot more shiney than mine. Mine is actually pretty dull. Eventually I'd like to get it chromed, or at least professionally polished like Alex's. His looks damn good.

Thanks.. i try 'n keep it clean 'n shiny (using Mother's aluminum polish cream) The machine shop i went to did.. usually places that do Chrome also do Aluminum polishing. Ask them to show you an example of alumin. polish work they have done. Shouldn't cost you more than ~70 bucks. The guy said Honda valve covers usually use good aluminum so the results turn out great! :-)
That picture was taken about 8 months after it was done as well with one treatment of Mother's.
