I would say Neuspeed makes the best FSTB.

Depends on the exact bar ur looking for...i dont think its possible to go with one brand completely if your gonna get all the suspension bars...like neuspeed only makes a front but no rear...DC makes front, rear, and tie, but not sway bar...so most people will have a combination of brands...and of course, mugen and spoon are always the popular ones.

i dont have the money to waste on spoon or mugen. ridiculous prices for a $10 piece of metal that they made... i think ill get neuspeed front tower bar but the sway bars are so much money! so im looking for different brands for a rear strut bar, lower tie bars and sway bars. but im def getting front tower bar.

Neuspeed all the way for the front bar. I got my polished bar used for $70, and it blows away any other bar. Lower tie bars are just for looks, so dont waste your money. For the rear, you can go with Cusco, Spoon or Neuspeed. As for sway bars, you can go with Neuspeed or Suspension Technologies

i dont think neuspeed makes a rear strut bar. only sway bars and the sway bars are pretty damn expensive, specifically the rear one. and does everyone agree with willmbrk on the selections he made? it seems pretty good stuff. so what i should get is front and rear strut bars and front and rear sway bars and the lower tie bars dont do that much. right?

Rear STB - Spoon, Cusco, etc
Rear sway - Progress, ST

My bad on the Neuspeed rear. I have heard that Cusco rear bars are very good and they even work with 4WS

sway bars are worth the money.

strut tower bars don't do very much. personally i think they're a waste of money unless you get one for 10 bucks. because, yeah, it IS a piece of metal, that should cost 10 bucks. no technology, no difficult welds. i refuse to pay ass loads of money for one.

Those cheap ass bars suck. I had one, and then I switched it out for the Neuspeed front. The reason the Neuspeed is so good is becuase of the way it mounts. It mounts to the inner apron instead of the shock pillar.

Should put a vote up for front strut bar because I want to buy the 'right' one when I put one on my Lude. I don't want to drive another lude and think that I made the WRONG choice in bars

1. SPOON
2. NEUSPEED

Either of those choices is good. Neuspeed, on the other hand, is half the price of Spoon, and you have to modify the Spoon to fit.

dc sport, cheap bars on ebay = garbage.. too much flex. I had a Neuspeed bar for awhile, there good. Switched to Spoon for front, bought one of those cheap pos's off ebay for like 20 bucks shipped for rear upper.. I could bend with me hands, threw away and managed to get a spoon rear. Had a dc sport rear lower tie for 2+ years, it's a pos. went with a skunk2 rear. I <3 my suspension setup right now, car handle's like she's on rails Can't wait for the Tein type-flex coil-overs

I have Tanabes front and rear, they've made a considerable difference, although the car tends to 'tramline' a bit now because of it's more responsive steering...

so you liked the spoon strut bar more then neuspeed?

and what exactly is your set up now? you have a skunk 2 rear lower strut now?

what i think i should do is get them in sets. get the front and rear strut bars at the same time and then get front and rear sway bars at the same time. ide like to get neuspeed sway bars but the rear one is like $400!! wtf!

i think the front and rear struts should be the same brand aswell as the front and rear sways should be the same brand since they were designed together. right? now im just not sure what to get. ide like to get neuspeed or spoon strut tower bars. i wanna make the right choice the first time. i just wanna know why jdm mike switched from neuspeed to spoon. is it better?

o yea, when i found the spoon front upper strut bar, it said w/o ABS, what does that mean? i have to take out my ABS or i have to modify it to fit? what kinda modifications did you have to do to make the spoon strut bar fit?

I think most people dont run an aftermarket front sway bar, they just leave the stock one there.

The Spoon bracket needs modified slightly to fit over an ABS bracket or something....easy to do.
