Strut replacement: removing/installing brake line holder...

So when replacing front struts, What is the best way to get the brake line mount (black metal thing) off of my stock strut, and then onto my koni's?

Thanks, Jordan

If I remember correctly, the line holder is just a bracket that is held on with a bolt. Remove the bolt, the bracket comes off the stock shock. Use the same bolt to put the bracket on the new shock, it should have a threaded hole in the correct place.

ya, you can replace your struts in about 45 minutes per corner... w/ just hand tools. use an airgun and prolly 30 minutes. =]

Its very simple, and as he said. It's just a bracket, andi believe its either a 12mm or 14mm. Can't remember (i just did it a week ago and forgot already)

I think they usualy do, but for some reason only one of my struts have them.

I got a realy good deal on my koni's and skunk2s and saved alot of hassle on having the springs already moutned, but I would never buy used struts again.
