Strut Bar Question. HELP

I just got my strut bar in, is it alright to just remove the bolts then just bolt the bar in or will something happen if i remove the bolts without clamping the springs down.

you can just unbolt then rebolt, the weight of the car will keep the springs right where they are! i did the same thing, no prob

you might want to be careful with that... it depends on the strut bar. my neuspeed bolts onto the upper A-arm bolts, and mine dropped out on me. no biggy, just some finesse and a pry bar should put it back in place, if you have a strut bar that just bolts to the shock bolt studs, then you're good to go

Yeah, installing my Neuspeed was a b**ch. The bolts dropped out, and then I had to like put all my weight on the bar to get it to line up with the passenger side bolts once I got the driver side on. Whatever though, I love that strut bar. Turning is no much nicer.
