strange idle - Honda Prelude Forum

hi there i have 93 honda prelude that is running a little strange.. it idles fine then you go put it in reverse and an it dies... but if u tap the gas it keeps going... or when you sit on 100km/h an ease your foot off the gas it dies or when slowing down for an intersection once i come to a stop it dies im going to try go to an auto sparky this week if anyone can offer help please doo

Any CEL's? What is it idling at?

hi there cel?? it idles at 1000 because i moved the cable to try stop the engine from craping out it normaly idles on 600rpm but the idle isnt the problem really i think its more of an EGR problem as it only does it when slowing down or first takking off
