I have a 94 Prelude S. Whenever the car is under load, in gear (i.e acceleration), there is a strange hissing type noise coming from under or near the engine. I have brought it to two garages thinking it was an exhaust leak but both of them found nothing. I then was told is could be the alternator, so I replaced it...still makes the hissing sound. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

intake manifold taking in alot of air at full throttle? If so that isnt a problem. I had bad gaskets on my header-to-downpipe, but it made more of a fluttering hiss
