Strange electrical problem

Hi All, can anybody with electrical knowledge help? I've got a problem on my '93 2.2vtech Auto si.
After driving in some heavy rain, I found my horns going off on there own after parking up. They've never worked off the buttons on the steering so I assumed they were dead anyway, I guess the rain some how shorted them.
As it was late at nignt when they went off, I just disconnected them.
Next morning I found the battery was flat or below iginition charge, I jumped it ok, then found my front fog lights were on. Which I guess had been on all night but i hadn't notice, so I suspect they were what drained the battery.
Anyway I moved the car from where it was parked to another road to work on it, where I reconnected the horns, during which I made the fogs go out after wiggling the wires to the horns. I then started the engine with the intention of moving the car again only to find I couldn't get the car out of the 'Park' position into drive. After looking at some workshop manual drawings I found the 15amp fuse for the 'Transmission module' & other stuff had blown,
I replaced it and got the car into gear ok. A while later the fogs came back on & the Trans module fuse had blown again. Looking at the electrical drawings the horns are on a different fuse to the Trans mod. as is the front fogs. Yet only the Trans module fuse is blowing.
Another thing I'm not sure about, is how the drawings I am looking at relate to my car electrically, I've got a model that was imported into the UK in the early ninetys. Where as the drawings I've got refer to only the U.S. & Canada versions. Are they the same? i.e. colour codes, fuses etc. I got the drawings off the net, but did not say if the car covers european versions or not.
Hope all this makes some sense, any help much appreciated. Thank you. Rob.

Hi, Rob
I don't have my prelude on the road yet, nor have I ever driven one, yet, but electrical I may be able to help, a little. The only advice I can give you is, if you suspect it's electrical work, then you might have a bare wire somewhere. When you parked, while you drive, or hit a bump or anything to make a slight jar could cause the bare wire to rub somewhere. If you're blowing fuses, it sounds to me you have a bare wire. I'm not sure if you can get an electrical test done to see if you have any breaks in your electrical, but it would be interesting to find out. Try calling an auto parts store. As for your horns acting screwy, my step dad has a truck that happened to; it would honk and flash lights persistantly. He took it to the dealer, and all they did was disconnect the battery for a half hour so it reset the computer. Then it was fine...I doubt you have the same problem, but its one step closer. Good luck.
