would it be ok if i got piping from my downpipe to where my muffler is now with out going in the place where the old exhasut is? like no bends from my downpipe to muffler or should i have them make bends where the old exhasut is\was.

i would re-route the new piping through the exsisting channels. otherwise you may scrape.

You will scrape if you're lowered at all, but you'll probably shoot fireballs with straight pipe from the downpipe back.

I'm pretty sure you'll only shoot fire if you don't have a cat. No cat and straight piping = loud

if i were to do it there would be no cat nor resantor. yes loud as hell and smelly to but it will give the best high rpm power gains

Yes, but you're killing our ozone!

Anyway, yeah, you'll be getting the most possible gains you can with an exhuast, but you have the other downsides to consider. Why don't you just run straight off the header-to-cat pipe?
