A thermal, evo, or apex n1 wouldn't sound ricey. There have been lots of threads on low sounding exhaust. You could probably do a search and find some good threads on low sounding exhausts.

judging from what I am seeing here in regards to cats and power, one of 2 things is happening... 1) The honda cats don't flow enough or 2) the cats are clogging up.

Either way, look into random tech for a better cat.

I heard Prelude VTECs racing in the old Firehawk series a few years back... these things were like listening to a flock of Husqvarna weekeaters through a million marshal half stacks. Maybe not that bad, but close. annoying as hell.
