no today i was pulling the trans out of my car and some of the dirt wasrubbed off of the spring and it was defiantely blue

hmm interesting, i gave my stock springs to xander.......i just remember them being black....

maybe it could be that infamous different suspensions after 94+

mine are black, i just cleaned them off yesterday so i could store them. off a 92

Stock are black. Those blue springs must be aftermarket, or maybe the previous owner (assuming you're not the original purchaser) painted the OEM springs.
Does your car ride lower than stock? I know Sprint makes blue springs, but they drop your car 2.25-2.5".

well i would say that you must have aftermarket springs but i know you dont. you have more wheel gap on your lude than any ive ever seen.. when i installed my springs my stock ones were black.. the did have some random colored dots on them but they were defintiely black..

I concur. Yah, my oem springs were quite crusted in gunk, but I'm pretty sure they were black though hehe. 92' here
