Stock rims are back ON!

Well its winter time here in Philly, so this past saturday I was forced to take off my 17x7 Konig Verdicts and replace them with the stock 94 vtec rims... man its looks like a completley different car... but I guess I wanna keep my big rims in good shape.. so they won;t be back on the car for about 3 months.... oh well.. I did notice that the ride is noticeably smoother with my stock rims back on the car I guess 55 series VS 45 series really make a difference.. I also noticed that my Tachometer reads SLIGHTLY different with my stock rims back on..With the 17's the tach is a few 100 rpms LOWER then with the stock rims at the same speeds.. I think when I go to put the Konigs back on I am gonna get a set of 40 series tires.. probably so-2 or are they so-3's now?? Bridgestone Potenza's SO-?... that's what I am gonna go with....

well just wanted to share.. anyone else go through the summer.winter rims routine??

I do the same. While it is being stored for the winter I put the stockers back on. Since it sits for about a month at a time between start-ups, I don't want flat spots to develop on my good rims.

Looks like crap with the stockers. I'm embarassed to drive it with the stockers because of the new paint and kit. It looks like I ran out of money and couldn't afford new rims.

I'm trying to get my stockers back on, but someone stole my wheellock key. I'm looking for someone to take it off now.

I put my stockers on a couple weeks ago so I can store my good wheels. I definitely got used to driving around with my 17"s on. So every winter I count the days until I can put them back on!

WHEEL LOCK..

I am pretty sure you can go to any NTB or Tire place and they can break just about any wheel lock off.. it'll probably cost you like 40 bux for them to do it.. AND they take no liability..
