I did some reserch and checked the quartor mile and 0-60 time. For a si, it's suppose to be 7.2 and 15.7. I went to the track and got 8 and 15.9. Does anyones time match mid 15s stock?and it's stick.
the condition of your engine and the elevation of where you are also makes a difference.
sounds about right, I'm sure with some more practice on your launch you could get those times.
I know with a lot of those tests....the magazine people do powershifts, jam into every gear, do power launches to get those times. They do basically whatever it takes to get the best times, something you definitely don't want to do.

Is this true? I thought it was more like 15.5-15.6? I have an older motor trend or car and driver at home, I will check later unless some one else has this info on hand.
It depends a lot on track conditions and driver. My stock runs were all around 16.3 at LACR. Again, track conditions play a huge part. I've been told from people who have run at sea level and at LACR, that it's abotu a 6 tenth difference. That would put my car right at 15.7. Now I run high 15s at LACR.

his run was at the same track i did my 14.3 at, which is at about 1200ft above sea level. looked like a pretty strong car for being that old. he was running very consistent 15.9's every pass down the track
flaminglude...how come you didnt show up to the prelude meet last night?
My Si ran 15.6 with I/E...my MPH was 88..so i couldve done better..but oh well..those days are behind me..now it seems me and 4bidden are competing for the fastest basic bolt on lude here lol..jk..but i still have you by .018 secs haha
but at least were repping for the same car
Actually, if you read the fine print, at least in C&D, it says all shifts are done releasing the gas, and pressing the clutch pedal. The runs are done on the tires the car came with, with the recommended tire pressure. In our cars' case, that would be 32 psi.
