Still confused on the EL guage swap to a 92-93 prelude

What is needed to make this swap? Could it not be done if you dont have the 94-96 Wire harness?

The 94-96 wire harness makes it 100x easier. It's really simple. Take out all the old and replace with all the new and bam, it works

not quite BAM.. but close enough. You have to ground that extra connector..

Though it's not required, hence my writing a how to without it

I read it but it still wasnt to clear to me. So do you really need the 94-96 harness? Or could it be done with out it? Please explain friend becuase i still dont understand after reading the FAQ.

look what I just said, "it's not required, hence my writing the how to without it". Just read carefully, the write up really does explain everything, I can't help you any more than that. It shows where to put each old wire to each place on the new cluster

what else do you need

that was the first mod to my car i strongly recommend getting the harness and the dimmer relay. So much easier....
