Still can't find foglight harness on 92 si

hello...ok i've spent the last 2 days looking for this damn thing. i found the 4 pin connector that i need to plug the harness+relay into. all i need to find is the 6 pin connector for the switch itself. now from everything i've read, in the 92, the connector is located behind the driver's side tweeter grill. now i've basically torn my interior apart looking for it. behind my tweeter grill, there is just one big ass loom. i followed that down, and i can't find any kind of white 6 pin connector (which is what the directions from hondaautomotiveparts.com said, even though that's for a 94.) i took the ebrake console and radio console off and looked down there. even tore off the carpet. it said on the 94 that the white 6 pin connector runs right off the same loom as the hazard light switch. on mine, there's nothing there except for one small wire that runs to the ebrake. i found one blue five pin flat connector wedged up in and taped to the loom, but that can't be it, can it? i have all the other harnesses (foglight harnesses, relay, and subharness), i just can't find the one for the actual switch itself! can anyone please help me find it? i've already sliced open two fingers looking for this mythical switch. thanks in advance.

Do you have a Helm's? Maybe someone who does can identify that blue harness if you give them all the wire colors. It kinda makes sense that it HAS TO BE SOMEWHERE right? I mean, if all the other harnesses are there, they must plug into SOMETHING, right? I know this must be frustrating, wish I could help out more. Have you tried asking on hondaprelude.com and some of the other boards?

i don't know...that connector has to be there somewhere...my only other choice now is to tear off my front bumper and follow the wires from the foglight harness on back...does anyone else have any ideas?

I still think your next step should be finding someone with a helms to trace that blue harness. . .one of the mods or more active members should have one. Try e-mailing Prelude2War

Ask Absolut. He has the Honda Prelude Service Manual. Its huge and has every little detail of a Prelude on it.

this should help...

I wouldn't trust those instructions from hondaautomotiveparts.com if they are for the 94+ models. I know for a fact that the wiring for the hazard light switch is different, because I recently installed the console from a 96 into my 92 and had to change the wiring for the switch. you also said that you were looking for a 6-pin connector, but that 10 in the 2nd to left column on the first page means that it is a 10-pin connector. if your switch only has 6 pins you will most likely need a helms to figure out how to adapt the harness and fiddle with the wiring so it will work.

by the way, you really need to get a helms manual. it probably would have saved you 2 days of your time already, which to me would be worth more than the price of the book..

damn, it figures that they'd have to be that different. i ordered a helms over the weekend...i guess i'll take another look and wait till it gets here. thanks for posting the diagram though. it reassures me that i'm not losing my mind! if i ever get these in and working, i'll...i don't know what i'll do. probably just pass out from the sheer joy of it.
