Stereo Issues

I am attempting to install a new deck in my car but the deck will only power on with both the red(power) and yellow(ignition) wires crossed so when i turn off my car the deck stays turned on which is dumb please help

Make sure you have it all connected right, like on the link. Did you get a harness adapter? I have installed MANY car stereos and the adapters (that you can get at advance/autozone/etc) make it so much easier.

yea i got that all good but now i talked to a install dude and he is telling me its one of my fuses under the hood but i checked all the small ones they r all good can it be a big one?

most headunits i've dealt with the yellow wires means constant 12v and the red is ignition....maybe you have them backwards?
