Steering wheel vibrations

Hi,

When I'm driving at a speed of 110 to 120 km/h there is a slight vibration in the steering wheel, around 130 km/h it's almost gone. The vibrations are most intense when braking at high speed 100 km/h and above.

I looked into the problem and the most common cause appears to be warped brake discs. I already replaced the following and did a wheel alignment and balancing without any luck:

-Front and rear brake discs
-Front and rear brake pads
-Rear brake calipers

Any ideas to what might be causing this problem are very welcome.

Regards,
DarnDao

if you have vibrations with and without braking AND you've already had your rims balanced AND an alignment done -> then its most likely that you have some bent suspension part

have you hit any pot holes recently?

Did the vibrations become more intense when using the brakes? As far as I can remember the car already had this problem when I bought it.

vibration would generally get worse as you accelerate and more power is being applied through the axle joints.

That's actually the opposite of what I'm experiencing, so that would probably rule out the cv axle, right? Could the front calipers somehow be the cause, for example a stuck cylinder?

if it vibrates under slowing down (apply the brake) then most likely its brakes, warped rotors, etc.

If you replaced all the brake components and it is still doing it then it may be your struts (just an idea). I've heard of the same thing happening on other cars and that was the problem. When is the last time they were replaced?
