Steamy Windows

When it's raining over here (which is a lot!) I can't seem to completely de-mist my screen using the normal de-mister.

The only way I can clear it and keep it clear is by using my climate control de-mist function. Is this just bad design or have I got a problem? If so, where do I start looking.

By the way I've a JDM VTEC which has the digi climate control installed.

make sure you haven't accidentally set the air to recycle through the car. that makes your windscreen mist up and make you feel like the normal de-mister is useless.

I have the same problem mate, but yours will be worse in Manchester , sorry...

Anyway, yeah, I used the air con to clear the screen when it's raining then if I turned it off and used the regular fans it would still steam up. I bought a bottle of Rain-X, but for the inside of the screen. It's called Anti-fog (or something like that) and it worked wonders, no more steamy windows. You should be able to get it from your local Halfords.

That's probably humidity. What you can do though is to turn on your A/C. It doesn't matter if it is cold or hot out. The A/C system will cycle the humidity and remove it from the interior of the car.

Okay UK!

Rob Halford (founding coordinator of Halfords here in the UK) was particularly fond of rock music and started his own record label in the 70's called Priestly records, and this is where Judas Priest (the rock group) got their name from.

He still plays lead guitar in a combo called 'The Southern Monkeys', their most popular hit was called 'UK Got No Clue'.
