starts but wont idle?!?!?!?!?!?

ok so i have a 95 lude with a vtec 5 speed and i was at the atm the other day and i left it running while i walked up to the atm, when i got back to the car when i got inside i smelled some exhaust and it also smelled like it was running rich so i went to back it up gave it a little pump of the throttle to start rolling and after i was rolling i let the car roll with the clutch pushed in and the car died, it starts right back up but then it dies again, i can keepit running and sometimes when i let it idle it bogs down damn near to zero then it catches itself and then ides fine, but not till i keep it at about 2 grand for atleast 10seconds i recently had the loping idle problem but i had fixed that by changing a valve around a little bit and it has ran fine till now, its drivable but smells entirely to rich, let me know what you guys think please asap cause it is driving me crazy to see my prelude just sitting there cause i dont wanna make it worse

I did that exact same thing. Works great.

Question, was this during the daytime? In the heat?

When my main relay was bad, it would do that sometimes, but wouldn't drive. It would just die. If it's during the day, try it at night when it's colder. If it is fine at night, but not day, you need to take your main relay out and re-solder the contacts.

The reason being...

When it's hot, the circuit board expands. It's not noticeable, but it's enough at it's scale that it won't work correctly. At night, when it's cooler, the board contracts, and the contacts will work....usually.
