Starting laggg

hey there, i just recently replaced my clutch, flywheel, rear main seal etc......but now i have a starting issue. It takes a good 6-8 seconds for the car to start up. But once started it runs great, it just takes a while to crank over. Anyone have ideas on why it is?

My prelude did the same thing. your in FL, so cold weather shouldnt be an issue. Maybe low charge on the battery? or alot of electronic accessories? bad alternator? could be a few things.

Mine ended up being a combo of cold weather and too many accessories (boost controller, 4 extra gauges, hids, all aftermarket speakers, touch screen, turbo timer)

LOL yeah, mine isnt boosted. All i have for the electronics is a 900 watt rockford fosgate amp with 10" rockford fosgate subs. But i never had a problem with the starting until i took the transmission out. It used to crank right over within 1-3 seconds. I'm guessing im gonna have to check some connections between the battery and starter. Ill do it this weekend and post what happens.
