Starting Air Valve

Hello,

I was wondering about this. The reason I ask is that it is supposed to be disabled when you install an intake. The tube for it is located on the intake tube on the stock system and the AEM dosen't have a nipple for it. I rigged something up that works the same (Brass nipple in the silicone connector). I was just wondering what it does for the car?

Any ideas?

All it does is supply additional air whenever you start the car so that the car starts easier.

Okay, I was just curious about it. Figured why bypass it, it must be there for a reason. Thanks again.
