stall when starting and wont restart. sometimes

1994 prelude si everything is stock besides k&n filter

every now and then when you go to start it will rev up then die. you can crank it over, will kick over and seem to want to start but wont start for a bout a min. this usually happens when it is warm. how ever yesterday it wouldnt start. i had driven 2 1/2 hours and it sat for atleast 2 hours. (might have flooded?)
2 hours later it started drove home and im driving it today.

Any ideas on what could cause this. never have tools when it happens to see if its getting spark or fuel
runs perfect otherwise
Thanks alot Adam

Its the ignition switch. It wears out over time. Cost about $60 new.
