i'm not sure exactly how the SS clutch line would make a difference, but it's only 27 bux for a Techna Fit one online...that's what my concerns about....

technafit is a good brand as well...i believe the clutch is only 1 line, and brakes are 4 lines, thus the price difference (if that was your concern)...

Yeah, the clutch line is only like a foot long, and smaller diameter than brake lines - hence the affordability.

I bought one for when I put in my new clutch - just as a "why not" mod. I doubt it'll make much of a difference.

u'll probably notice more under harder driving conditions like track events where you're consistantly shifting gears, down-shifting, up-shifting, etc...

I wanted to get a set of SS brake lines for my car, which I purchased new in July, 1992. My friend is a Honda tech who has built a few of his own Hondas up and he told me I didn't need them. I figured it would be a good thing, just to replace them because of age, but he didn't think it would that big a deal- even though it is a very common modification.

Does it really make much of a difference for "normal" driving? I would think you would get a firmer pedal (and I like firm things...), but I don't know what to do- I really trust his opinion since he built himself a few nice cars, including a CRX that was NASTY. and he knows his stuff. .........I'll end up with them at some point, since I can't help myself. I'll have to play the "if I'm going to replace them due to age- to be safe- I might as well go SS!"
route.

I'll hear it from him later on when he puts my car up on his lift for some work in the future
and sees them peeking out from underneath...
