SRS unit compatibility

Will a SRS airbag computer module from a 93 work on a 94? I'm not sure because 93's only have one airbag and mine has 2.

TIA!

Only S models lack the passenger airbag, I believe it was standard on 93 Si's.

Since my car has had the airbags deployed, do I have to buy a computer module that hasn't been set off?

The control module itself, the brain of the SRS system WILL work on any year, from any model. They were all the same, just the models that didn't have airbags lacked one harness going into the control unit.

Really?! On hondaautomotiveparts.com the SRS module looks different on my car (94) than the 92-3. I can get one from a 93 Si with only a drivers air bag...since that one only has one harness, where does the pass. airbag plug into?

I hope your right cuz I can get one at work for free then.

well I know that on my old lude (92 S) the SRS unit had one harness connected into it, and a space for another one (the passenger side). Of course my car didn't have the harness it being an S model, and a 92.. but the space for the passenger side harness was there ???

Ok, I have a different SRS module now...is there anything I should do before pulling out the old one and installing the new one? Like unhook the battery? Should I reset the ECU once the new one is installed?

Thanks!

Bah, a 93 SRS computer is different than a 94. There's only one harness on the 94 and the plug will not fit in it.
