SRS light on after replugging?

I had to unplug both airbags on my '94 when I installed a new ignition switch. I plugged them into the red plug (like the Helms says) during the install and after I was finally done with the ignition switch, I plugged both airbags back in. However, my SRS light came on. Does it need to be reset or something? How would I go about that? How much would it cost to have a dealer do it? If you think the light's on for another reason, please explain why. Any help will do! Thanks guys.

Read the section in the Helm's about the SRS system. There is instruction in there for clearing the memory of the unit. It is not as simple as pulling the battery.

So you're saying the memory is the problem for SRS light then? And I did read the SRS section and there's so much stuff I wasn't sure where to start.

Well, look on page 23-310 about half way down you will see the title "Erasing the DTC Memory". Follow those procedures and see it is comes back.
