SRS connection/disconnection/light

Alright, I recently had to change my ignition switch in my Lude and in doing so, I disconnected the passenger and driver side airbags and put the little red clip onto each one. So anyways, it's been a month since I've fixed my ignition switch so I went to replug in the airbags and unplugged the neg. battery to reset the ECU and the SRS light IS STILL on!!! This is really annoying because I know there's nothing wrong with it. All I did was disconnect it for about a month! Is there something I am forgetting to do or something? Is there like an "SRS reset button" or something? Thanks guys for any help.

I think there is something special you have to do for it but I can't remember off the top of my head, then again maybe not. If I had my book I could tell you. ARGH, book at parents 12miles away.

hey, i checked with my dad, and he's telling me all you can do is take it into a dealer, because they need to reset the light through a PGM-FI tester/diagnostic computer.

I had the same problem, SRS light wouldn't go away. My mechanic buddy hooked his handy dandy computer up and it went away.

Do you drive angry ^^^^ ? Red does incite anger I know mine is quite irritating sometimes when I'm stopped and my eyes begin to wander.
