Srs

I was going to install a AEM CAI on my friend's 1992 Accord EX tomorrown because I took it off mine. I do not need it because mine is not running. The engine died The question I had was if it was necessary to disable the SRS System to take the bumper off? I would think that nothing would happen as long as you disconnected the battery. Should I worry about disconnecting the SRS?
