Squeeky Clutch =]

Hey, YES i searched, does anyone know how/why the clutch goes "grrrrreeeee " when i press it in.. like its not lubed or something? I hear it coming from my hood on the driver side... almost sounds like parts need to be oiled.. its a squeeky when i press the clutch in?

Anyone else have that and fixed the culprate?

Another noise, at 2100-2400 rpm's i get like a metal ratteling.. i scanned everywhere for something ratteling.. shrug. must be something on the exhuast somewhere... maybe when i get headers it'll go away?

NOISES!!! making me paranoid

I hope you have a helms

Should be the slave cylinder. You just have to grease it.

mine squeeks also, and from what i understand its quite common. slave cyl is the most likely, but sometimes its from the arm that goes into the clutch housing. at least thats where the squeek was on mine. i had to pull the boot back and give it the greasy finger treatment. just mak sure you reattach the boot properly...

You should be cool with a Chiltons (although it's no Helms ), I was only asking because I wanted to make sure you knew where to grease.

Glad we could help ya out Crate!
