Hey guys...opinions on this one:
When I have the car in neutral, a high pitched squeaking noise can be heard from the engine bay. Almost a constant sound but sounds like something is rubbing as the engine is turning. However, when I press the clutch all the way in, it goes away. The clutch is fairly new (15k) but I'm wondering if it's rubbing or something. Any ideas appreciated.

ok, so if that's true, is this something that needs fixing soon, will it cause wear on the clutch, etc.? I'm not that mechanically minded so I don't know if this is something I can let go or needs attention soon.
Thanks

i had a similar problem after i had my act clutch kit installed. looking at the engine bay, look to the left of the exhaust manifold and you'll see a joint that will pivot back and fourth as you engage and disengage the clutch with the petal. have a friend push the petal in and out while you spray some white lithium grease on the joint, i also pulled the boot back and shot some in there, from underneath the car. i haven't had a squeak since. hope this helps.
Because in the morning, when I start my car and start turning left, I hear this "errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" noise and then it stops, and then it drives normally. This doesn't happen when the car is warm, but when it's cold, it does it.

But did your squeal happen all the time or just when you pushed in the clutch? I also have a squeal from just moving the clutch but there is another noise that is there ALL the time unless I push the clutch in. But I'll try it anyway.
In terms of temperature, yes there is the noise from idling that is there only when the engine is cold. I get that too (yes, I know my car makes lots of noise) but this is also when warm.
Finally, does anyone know if having your throwout bearing go bad cause damage, aka, should I bring it in to have it looked at right away.
Thanks guys.

it would squeak all the time when the clutch was engaged. i would barely push on the clutch petal to dis-engage, it would stop squeaking.
