Sputtering, Stalling car Dead Need Help

My 93 Prelude Si 2.3l dohc started sputtering really bad while on the freeway then ran ok for about 5 minutes and then it stalled out and completly died while driving doing aroung 35mph, It wouldnt start then after a day of sitting it started up but i still had to crank it over for ten minutes. It still keeps stalling out and sputtering bad, but will idle for awhile before stalling. Everytime it stalls it takes about 20 seconds of crankng to start sometimes dies right after it fires up. I got a new fuel pump, fuel filter, new plugs and wires, also new cap and rotor. check engine light is on but was on prior to the incident. What could it be? Im tired of guessing it cost too much. I heard the IAC maybe how do i check that? what else could i check? thanks for the help

take it to the shop save ur time and headaches. take it to one that knows what there doing. We have one here that does absolutely free check ups and finds the problems for you then gives you an estimate and you decide if you want it fixed b them or you can do it yourself took my ride 3 times there and they have always been right.

I refuse to take it to the shop to get raped on labor prices, plus they'll want to fix everything. lol. How do i check my oxygen sensor? also i know my knock sensor is gone but it always has been, do you think its affecting it now after all this time running with no sensor? Im new to the Honda World so i don't know much yet.

Well alright if you insist. Do you know any friends close to you that work at a shop this is why i take mine to the shop because i know the owner for one and 2 he does my stuff 1/2 the price or free sometimes. And i tell him what the car is doing he goes finds only that problem and that's it. no huge rapped labor rates. It's just i know his whole family and he knows my whole family so we get hook ups.

Unfortunately i don"t have the hook up like that, I haven't really messed with the car so i'm gonna go try today. Some have told me to unplug my o2 and clean my iac, so ill start there.

Replace your coil, check ALL grounds, disconnect and reconnect harness plugs. How many miles on the motor and timing belt? What do your spark pulgs look like?

I have the same problem. My car is drivable but it will sputter after awhile and cut out. I have to rev it to get it to calm down. Plus my tach goes nuts when the problem gets agitated. I replaced my ignition coil, helped for a bit. It acted up again, so i replaced my cap and rotor. Helped then the problem came back. I replaced my spark plugs and everything. I ordered a new fuel pump to see if thats whats causing all these problems. I'm thinking its a fuel problem.
