Yeah, it will be hard to find a Spoon hood. Much easier to get a FiberImages... those hoods are excellent quality. FiberImages is what I will be buying if I ever get around to a new hood.

Spoon hood will be hard to find, as for fiber images, i've heard really bad things about them. I have the VIS invader cf hood and my friend has the fiber images... The difference between the 2 was, the VIS has a tighter weaving and the carbon fiber actually wraps around the edges making the hood look really clean. Other than that, the price is the only thing that is good about the fiber images cf hood...

Hood fit great. I like it alot. Only thing you have to do is drill a hole for your hood stand... But I believe on most cf hoods you will have to drill a hole anyhow. As for water, the water just will hit in the gap rite between the radiator and header. That empty space.

VIS vs Fiber images

I talked to VIS today and they seemed to be very behind there products.. They went off for like 5-7 min about quality and craftmanship. I was impressed. Fiber images did'nt awnser there phone. VIS is sounding nice?

I've seen good and bad of both brands. It's almost luck of the draw.

They are both spoon lips. I think I remember someone saying that the reason it had to be painted red was because it got cracked.
