I'm about to buy a spoon lip, but i dont want to keep my stock sideskirts as everyone does... I'm planning on getting WW RS sides or kaminari sides, what would line up best w/ it?... Its a big investment, so I'd like to be sure,..
if i can ever get my hands on one of the knock-offs being produced by people on this board (which seems next to imposible! no matter how many times i email, PM or post i get no reply, comeone guys i have cash in my hand that i want to give you!) i plan to have WW RS sides and rear with it.

I think there is a slight chance that the wwrs sides will be just a little lower than the spoon, but that is just guess from me looking at the 2. I think the kaminari would line up more but that is just my guess.....

I think i might be the only one who thinks that the knock offs dont look that great, i mean they did a good job, but the shape is off, I love the way the authentic looks on it, but the knockoff looks a little "thin",, so i'm going to buy the real one, but the thing that concerns me is the sides and rear, what about the kaminari sides, how does that look w/ it?.. if anyone can post some spoon lip pics that would be great,, i've gotten a few, but no real world apps really, except a red one on hp.com..
I think you will be better off with the Kaminari sides. I think the RS sides will hang lower than the Spoon lip because my Kaminari sides and rear sit a little higher than my Wings West big mouth bumper.
if i end up getting the spoon lip(or replica) i will be getting the kaminari side skirts, they are just a little more subtle than than the wwrs. i say go for those. how much is your lip gonna be with shipping and everything?

unfortunately Takakaira hasnt gotten in touch w/ me yet, i'm going to contact inline four hopefully they can get me a quote on it shipped,, probably 6-700$ i would think.. i'll be happy if its cheaper.
where should i buy the kaminari stuff?.. I hope nothing is on back order, this lip better not take forever to get here, if it does, screw it,, WW it is..
93PreludeS, hate to break it to you, but you're not going to be able to get one from takakaira or inlinefour. I know takakaira has it listed on their site, but they don't mention that spoon doesn't have any in stock and is back ordered for a looooong time from what they told me. I went through the whole ordering process as well, filled out the order form, faxed them my CC # and then the next day i got the email that said they don't have any in stock and don't know how long till the next batch, if ever. Don't you think a lot more of us would have the lip if this weren't the case?

I am disappointed that i'm going to have to wait so long for it,,, i guess i might have to go w/ another lip then.. i guess JUN would be the same case.. but i'm kinda liking this lip now.. so i guess its going to be about making spoon make my lip hehe.. no but i hope i can get ahold of it.. i'm going to speak to a few ppl see what they tell me,,, someone has to have one!
well i spoke to inlinefour and they let me know that its virtually impossible to get this thing, its discontinued, and very rare like you said,, he said my best bet would be to look for it used on the internet.. crap crap crap crap, the dream is dead.
I tried for a year and a half, 93preludeS, and got no results. I talked to one kid that actually said he had his made to order from spoon themselves but he had to donate an organ for it. His name is Fas4ws on www.hondaprelude.com. I'm not 100% sure if that's the way it happened though. Try emailing him and ask him about it. I forgot exactly how he got his hands on one.

Yea i think you're right man, well the search is on, I guess i'll have to find it used, i spoke to some of the spoon lip'd fellows.. to see where they got it, most of them were gotten used, alot of ppl in .jp appear to have it, i hope i can get one of them to sell me it,, i really want the lip, i'm going to give it a month, if i cant find it,, WW RS it is..
