From what I have been told by someone who has chipped hundreds of Honda ECUs, the progam for a JDM P13 ECU (e.g. Spoon, JUN) will not work on a US P13 ECU for some reason that I do not know. Likewise, US P13 Programs (e.g. Dinan, Skunk2) will only work on US P13s.

in regards to the spoon ecu i am sure that the chip will only work on the JDM P-13 ecu. If you have a JDM P-13 ecu w/a spoon chip on it, it won't work on a USDM H22A1? can someone let me know cuz i have a friend that has the Spoon Ecu. V.2 but hasn't installed it in his USDM H22a1.

I bought a JDM P13 ECU which came with the JUN chip installed. I put it in last week and since then it has been pulling harder with no fuel cutoff. Only problem is there are a few glitches and it does funny stuff like stutter, also now my exhaust popps when I shift.

Probably because it's running so rich. JUN, Mugen chips are all really rich in fuel. You should also have a lot of balck smoke when you floor it.
