Spoon C/F Lip Spoiler - Honda Prelude Forum

I posted this a while back, but now that I actually have some money, does anybody know where I can get a Spoon c/f lip spoiler, for sure? I know that most sites don't have them, or can't get them anymore, but I'm sure that there must be somebody out there who can still get one, or who has one that they can sell me. I've been looking, but I don't know all of the avenues. If anybody can find me one, let me know the price and who I need to contact. I promise you that I'll find a way to hook you up. Thanks, y'all.

This place in Japan has it for $451 plus shipping, very expensive, but if you have the money, i say go for it!!! remember you said your gonna hook me up

i went to buy one but i don't have a fax machine to fax them an application & i can't wire any money. Are they any other sites where i can get them at (spoon Sports carbon fiber lip spoiler)

Stupid question but, does the 4G VTEC have different holes for the lip spoiler? Or will the lip spoiler mount right on to my 4G Si? Peace...

I tried ordering the lip from www.takakaira.com and this is what they wrote back:

We received your submitted order for INV-************** with credit card info and wish to thank you but we regret to inform you that this order (8243) Carbon lip is currently sold out of stock , and next back ordering date is unknown yet, so we're sorry for not able to take it this ordering from you now. Now who knows how long that's going to take. Could be months or weeks. I'm in the same position as you. I really really want that lip BAD. I actually tried emailing some people on ebay who sell parts from japan and that live in japan and it seems like they are willing at first and then all of a sudden they just stop trying for me. I don't know. One day i'll get one. Good luck, we're both going to need it...

hey dudes, i swear there has to be a way to get that lip for our 4th gens! i mean, i been checking out some setups and some people have them... what someone should do is find someone who has the orginal lip and make copies of them. i will honestly pay for a copy one made out of fiberglass... and i bet if someone would to make copies of those spoon lip copies people are gonna buy them. the problem is to find the person who has and the find the person that would do the copies... i personally am an idiot, so i would have no idea how to make or lay fiberglass. but it's an idea... while searching ebay, i found that Aerospeed makes a carbon fiber rear spoiler for civics... selling for like $215 and it's basically the same as the spoon one.. so why can't they make copies of the 4th gen spoon lips??? so that's it...all i have to say.

PLudeBen, thanks for tryin'!!! I appreciate it. Just like you, I'm a die-hard JDM/Spoon/Mugen nut, so I just HAVE to have the Spoon lip. I don't know what's up w/ Mugen & Spoon destroying their molds as soon as the next gen Lude came out ... very stupid if they're really concerned about money (the prices of their goods reflects that they are). Maybe they just don't give a sh!t??? Perhaps I joined the Spoon/Mugen bandwagon a day too late.
