Speedo on crack?!?

ok i got a little problem, when i rev up my engine in neutral to around 5 k then let it drop off my speedo shoots up to 100 mph then drops down, when i am accelerating while driving it is fine but when i let off the gas under aggressive driving it still jumps up 20 mph or so, when i am on it is completely fine, I know 1995 ludes don’t have cables (i believe) and it is all sensors, could this have anything to do with the mods I have done or a sensor?

1995 vtec
MSD, wires, vafc (leaned out 4%) advanced timing, high flow cat

those are the only things i have done that could possible affect this. any insight would be appreciated...

nothing is wrong, u just went THAT fast, 0 to 100mph and back to 0 in .4 seconds. I'd guess its your vehicle speed sensor, but I'm stupid so dont take my word for it, wait for other people to post.

i just got a brand new speed sensor for my car. they are 160$ stock and its a pain in the ass to install them. they are right about underneath your intake manifold on your transmission. i decided to save my money installing this sensor and save for a motor swap since it would be 500$ at the dealership to fix (sheared bolt). if you want this part ill sell it to you for 140$ its opened to make sure all parts were there but other than that its new and never used still in box.

by the way, only use genuine honda headlight fluid. the aftermarket support of this fluid has no comparison to genuine honda products.

take it easy man and good luck
