speed chip

has anybody here tried the e-bay speed chip?

just wondering if it works and if it damages the car in any way

seems like it's a little resistor placed on the intake air temp sensor...

so does this fool the computer into thinking it's sucking in 30 degree air and increase fuel or something?

its been discussed before.....

it just makes your car "think" the air is colder, puts in more fuel or something like that. waste of money

Dont waste your money. all it is is a resistor that costs $0.05 at radio shack or somewhere. It doent work, it just makes your fuel richer all the time, which is not necesarily a good thing

The "chip" is a waste. It makes the car run richer (while our cars already run very rich from the factory). It probably does way more harm then good.

its not a chip, its just a 10c resistor. Its crap.

If you want something half decent, find a real spoon program chip (not the ebay ones)
