SPC 67360 camber kit install

(This post pertains to the rear control arms)

I've got the control arms off of the car and i'm using the ball-joint replacement style SPC camber kit (67360).

The instructions say "Positionn slide plate (#2) on under side of arm. Align slot with Indicator Mark on control arm and press into the arm using ball joint press."

There's obviously no indicator mark on my control arm... is the picture thats on the instruction sheet supposed to accurately depict the prelude control arm or is it generic? Is the picture supposed to show exactly where to align it or is it a generic picture. I ask b/c if i align it the way the picture shows then it makes no sense to me.

Who has done this before?

Here's how i would think it would go, but how exact does it need to be???

try cleaning the arm up a little better. The mark is just a tiny dimple in the arm. It should be there mine had it. I think the mark in the instructions were close but I'm not positive.
