Sparco Torino into 4th gen

I was wondering what most of you used for rails and sliders for your aftermarket seats, I want to put a set of torinos in my car would rather fabricate a rail and silder from another vehicle into mine, anyone have any previous experience with this?

why fabricate rails/sliders when they are readily available. the sparco sliders are universal and will fit the torino w/o problems. the brackets are the only thing really custom but for 4th gen's which ar available. wedge engineering makes the ones i have in which i plan to mate them w/some sparco sliders and torinos.

Well I thought I could venture into this project with out having to purchase aftermarket rails and sliders, and wondered if say the stock one would work or if use something from another vehicle

ic ic.. i get what you're saying. i think there are universal brackets/sliders on ebay in case you don't want to do a cut/weld job. that can be the least expensive/time consuming option. if i get my seats in then i can take pics for you of the underside and i wouldn't be surprised if you can use your stock brackets and some weld job to mate them w/the sliders and fit in your ride.

Do you really wanna rig some half-assed seat attachment?

When it comes to saftey, don't cheap out.

Have you tried www.speedwaremotorsports.com? I got mine from them in only a few weeks, despite a back order. I own recaros, but still, they can get Wedge to get moving, from my experience. Don't cheap out on your life...aftermarket brackets are made to properly keep the seat, and you, from flying into the dashboard if you have a severe frontal impact. At the very least, have a racing fabrication shop that does this kind of stuff do it for you.

I have checked it out and you cannot use your OEM sliders with after market rails. The OEM seats are a side mount and Most aftermarket are a bottom mount, the side mount configuration don't have a place to mount brackets

Drivers=crx custom fitted+custom bracket
Passenger=custom bracket=non sliding

Thats how it is in my car.. The sparco brackets+rails just make me sit way 2 high.. So I had to go custom.
