It doesn't matter if the damn items are different smart ass. It's the principle! It wouldn't matter if he wanted to ****ing put teddy bear rims on his car, paint it pink, put staggard fitment wheels on a fwd car and buy a $6000 watch. In the other thread where he's asking the opinion of tail lights, you tell him don't listen to anyone, do what YOU like. Now you come here he where he's asking for the opinion on the turbo noise maker you tell him don't do it. What's the damn difference! He wants an opinion you gave him one that applies universally which is do what you want. What you really meant to say is listen to me I'm always right. You can't stick to your own goddamn advise. Get off your own ****ing nuts and stop being a hypocrite.
If he wants to do it let him do it.

umm i went through the rice stage and bought one of those and it does not sound like a turbo at all but when i put it on my camaro, it made it have a different echo so my v6 has the grumble of a v8.

It doesn't sound like you ever outgrew your ricer stage if you put something on your V6 Camaro to make it sound like a V8.

It appears that you're still balls-deep in ricerdom.

probably......lol but for all intensive purposes v6 camaro's exaust have a suck sound. so would it not be alright to do somthing to make it sound better? because it has flowmasters on it and it sounded tenny -more rice than a civic with a catback- that lowered it to a tolerable sound. so if its a bit ricy sorry but i didnt wanna pay tons for borla exaust that will prolly fall off in 2 years or so cuz of where i live. Oh and does that search intake come in ram air?

I always compared the sound of a V6 Camaro to that of a swimming pool pump. They also make about the same power.

No. That would be stupid.

I think the best mod for your Camaro is a mullet.

for all intensive purposes huh? How about "for all intents and purposes?" How can you say a phrase like that if you don't know the key words that make it that phrase?

Flowmasters will rust and fall off, because they are aluminized steel. Borla was Stainless Steel the last time I checked.

We'll express our opinions in a respectful manner as soon as you stop typing like a ghetto rat moron.

That said, I doubt either of our parties are gonna budge.

Yes I'm going to end with "if he wants to do it, let him do it". You know why? Because we honestly don't care what these guys do to their cars, most of he time people don't listen about the advice and do what they want anyways. It's funny how the original poster agreed with me even after my close minded comments. Infact he's selling the car so why do any of the posts matter. You constantly contradict yourself. Here's another example how. You say your car is a daily driver and you don't care about performance then you and say show is done time for performance and you want to swap motors. I thought if you wanted power you have your merc.

From now on I'll be respectful and say please before making my closed minded posts, so that up to par with your standards. Since that makes it's ok to be a hypocrite.

Post counts? You really think high post counts come from posting in the tech forums? There's other parts of this forum you don't have access to.

if u dont care what they do to the car, then express that...instead of giving him sarcasm that he took for seriousness.....

i constantly contradict myself??.....well i dono if u fit into this description, but people that mod cars get a little carried away and addicted to it....as far as i know, u dont seem to fit this description ..or well i dont know since i still know nothing of your car.........but basically...my lude was originally purchased to have as a daily, but i already put over 5x into it than what i bought it for....and now i do plan on doing a swap....BUT if u stalked me correctly - u woulda known that i dont plan on doing it until april or may...so until then - no i dont care about performance and it is a daily.....HOPEFULLY i can hold out until then....

Why do you judge people so much based on what they do or do not do to their cars?

"Oh, I can see by your car that you're not a real modder"

How much work do YOU actually do on your car(s)? Are YOU going to swap in a new motor or pay someone to do it? Just modding your car doesn't make you some all knowing superior being. Hell, you didn't know that you could start your car with a busted clutch. Stick to line dancing
