Sorry GS-R, SR-V is king.

Check out the 1994 C & D comparo of GT cars. The SR-V blows
every car away in acceleration. It does need better brakes though, even w/ the bigger rotors/calipers.. I suspect the crappy OE pads.

This should put to rest ... so is a GS-R faster than a Prelude.. blah blah blah

I moved it back because it has to do with a 94 Prelude VTEC. I remember those old comparo's, and the 4th Gen Prelude VTEC always faired well.

Actually, if you use the price as tested, the Prelude was actually less than the Celica, and only a couple grand more than the cheaper cars in the comparison.

I weighed my 95 SR with a full tank of gas... and came in a around 2900 pounds... Mind you this is my car "as is", not stock...

And othe TPC member weighed his 5th Gen and it came in about 300 pounds heavier. I think it's in the FAQ at www.hondaprelude.to but the site is down right now. We crashed the server.. again..

Here's the link

Mine, 93 VTEC, weighed around 2,785 with almost a 1/4 tank. Oh yeah, that was minus the spare and jack.
