Someone tried to break in or steal my car last night

I woke up this morning went to my car and noticed the alarm had been triggered. So I looked around my car and noticed on the drivers side where the bumper meets the fender there was a cable sticking out. I beleive it was the cable to pop the hood. My dad said he heard a car speed off right after my alarm went off. Man I'm pissed good thing I had the alarm. I also have the auto lock on it, I'm seriously thinking about getting hood locks, the one that uses a barrel key. Does anyone know where I can get them? I'm getting a better alarm next week. Hopefully this won't happen again.

That kinda sh$it happens here in NY all the time too. I have 3 people come to where I live at night trying, but I don't understand, when they come with a car with a cat-back you hear it coming and they let it sit right in front of my window and idle while they are trying stuff. What is wrong with people today?:finger: But after the second time and my neighbor ran up on them with his Glock they have stopped.:finger:
