Some thing wrong (EL Gauges)

I put a EL gauge cluster (Si) into a friends 94 S lude. We used the complete dash harness but did not which the dimmer. The problem is that the Highbeam light stays on and the headlights and blinkers won't work. Any suggestions?

I am guessing they work on the outside of the car and not on the guage.....if that is the case.......then on the passenger side of the wiring harness, they was a connector that did not connect to anything....I think it was 3 wires......
That connector...has a blk wire....I just ground the black wire and problem solved........
Now as to were you ground the blk wire....well I spliced the brightness control blk wire with an 18 guage wire and ran the wire to the connector on the passenger side and spliced it.
Problem solved.......Let me know if you have any questions

Actually the headlights on the outside and the blinkers did not come on. And the three wires you are talking about (I assume I found a place that they connected to, maybe it is not supposed to connect there but I will see. Any other suggestions? Why didn't the headlights come on at all?

if you connected them to something, take it apart because there is no clip for them. That should be used for something else.

Maybe it is something else, not necessarily the el guage swap. Check Headlight relay, fuses and bulbs.

Haha, what in the hell did you connect that little 3 wire plug to?? I searched forever up under my dash (unknowingly at the time that its to be left unplugged) trying to find what it plugged into to no avail. I just did this yesterday... gotta ground it today to take care of the blinker problem.
