You are right, the cup holder is an insert in the armrest but sometimes the cup holder comes with the arm rest and red92s is right. They go for about $130 and it is rare. Honda does not make is anymore.

I went to hondaautomotiveparts.com and checked under the accessories for 92 and 93.. I came up with 2 things no picture tho..
1992
112659 FRONT ARMREST BLACK 94.50
1993
112662 FRONT ARMREST BLACK 127.28

I'm thinking that is the armrest cup holder thing.. I'm not possitive though. I know it can't be the rear seat console because thats listed under consol in the 1992 regular parts.
I'm thinking the 1992 is just an arm rest since it has the rear console.
The 93 part might be the arm rest / cup holder. Since the 93 has a different interior? It has the leather insert in the back seat with no console.
Heres some part images.

1992

1993

What do you guys figure it is?

The armrest with cup holder is for the 93 prelude. The 92 prelude also came with the armrest option but it was just an armrest.
That is why there is a difference in prices between the 92 and 93.
