Softest riding shocks?

I dont know if this question really makes sense, but right now what i'm after is a set of shocks that will make my ride as soft as possible, smooth on Neuspeed race springs which are very stiff,, the car is really low, and i want it to ride smooth again, if possible w/ out raising it to stock height... are koni's the only shocks that will do this? Also wanted cheapest alternative AGX?..

Probably Koni adjusted properly, a stiff spring means you're stuck with a rough ride. Getting the dampening set properly will help though. The AGX only has 4 settings so there's somewhat of a compromise. Changing out the race springs will make the biggest difference.

Man, this sucks, I love the way the car looks as low as it is.. i heard koni's deal with the springs really well,.. If only i could get a chance to ride in a car w/ that setup,, so i can know if i should get diff springs or not.

basically with those springs your kinda stuck. aftermarket shocks usually stiffen the ride a bit, even on the softest setting. i have personally ridden in a car with neuspeed race + koni yellow set at softest, and the ride sucked still. maybe you should consider getting the sport springs instead, they take most of the wheel gap away and still provide a nice ride. good luck!

DAMNIT.. hehe, i love the look, but i live in central texas and the streets here arent helping much either, where i lived before it was nice and smooth, here the streets are all crapped.. i guess i will be changing springs then. Grr.. but i tuck my wheels and it looks great hehe.. i'm going to take a pic of my car dropped on the neuspeeds.. I'm going to miss em .. sport springs drop the car like 1.75?.. thats going to look high to me hehe

If you get Neuspeed Sports or Eibach Pro-Kits and Koni yellows you can have it nearly as low. The Konis allow you to lower the car another 1/2" by using the lowest perches. Should ride a little better too since the spring rates aren't as high.

Well, I'm still deciding on whether or not to keep them. I'm still really happy w/ the way they look, the ride doesnt really bother me, i just think that it sucks when you have people ride in your car and its rough... I think that if i get the koni's throw them to the softest setting i'll be okay, at least a bit happier... I just like the way it looks too much to let it go hehe.. every time i walk away i'm happy w/ it hehe

exactly, the sport springs used with Konis on the lowest perch will give you a 1.9" lowering---and a smooth ride.

Well, what i'm going to do in this situation is buy the koni's
have them put on w/ the race springs test out the rates, figure out how comfy it will be how much i can put up w/ to keep the drop.. and if i dont like it, just sell the springs and buy the sports.. thanks for the help guys
