So i gave up today...

... and brought my car to the dealership in regards to my front driver side squeaking. It's a very loud metal to something not metal noise that happens whenever I turn the wheel, or go over uneven surfaces...

I've wd-40'd everything, and greased up a lot of things. It doesnt squeak when i take it apart, and it wont squeak for a few days after that (or about after 5 hours of driving roughly).

When I get my car back later today I'll post in here as to what they say the problem is, or if they fixed it, or what needs to be fixed, just so you guys can use the info

what kinda squeaking sound was it. i had one of those, but i would only hear it when i turn the music off, and roll in neutral about 10 mph, it was the vaccum plate rubbin agains the rotor. if now, what is your problem like, like how fast are you driving, what do u do when you hear it, and is it constant ?

all the time. and no, only when i would go over a bump and turn the wheel. if it was smooth surface and keeping the wheel straight, it would be fine.

that doesnt sound too bad. let me guess, your car is dropped on stock shocks right ?

and when u turn the wheel, it does too ? if its when you turn the wheel, that might be your cv joints, when was the last time your checked those ?

hehhe sorry bout that, i paid 120 with labor included for both cv joints. that might be it, but if you still get it while u drive str8 over a bump, my guess is maybe something needs to be greased up on the shocks or something, maybe a bushing or something i dont know, but it ca be possible.

ps, i m still dropped on stock shocks, hehe but i dont have that problem. stock shocks are still in perfect shape, but iwain on konis to put on with skunk2 coilovers.

The bracket bushing & endlink bushings are always nice to replace if it's been a long while.
