smoking out bumper lamps

i got clear bumper lamps for my car and im thinking of smoking them out, not dark like headlight covers but a lot lighter, has anyone done this and have pics? DO you all think it will ook good

i was gonna do it...i bought some spray tint from a local hobby shop but it didnt work out to well...i think im just gonna go buy some light tint film and use that instead unless someone knows of a brand of smoke/tint spray that has worked well for them.

That looks pretty nice! I think I'm going to do that to my clears when I get my jdm's and CF hood on. Do they chip ever? I mean how long have you had them painted and how much wear do they show? Thanks for the help.

Hehe I get my CF hood VERY SOON...

I was looking at them when I pulled them out to get more air to my CAI when I was racing...It's been over a year now and I should probably do the edges a little bit, but that's my own fault. I don't see any chipping.

If you kno what the 96 bumper lamps look like they're orange on the side and clear on the front? well this is cool because on the side they are now RED....but the front is a dark orange so it's still legal.

Don't mind the yellow tape...fresh out of the paint shop:
