I have a black lude and was thinking of painting my stock tail lights with a light tint spray so that it has that lightly tinted smoke look. Anyone have any pics and/or instructions on doing this?
You pretty much just clean your stock lights, use a couple light coats of the tint spray (from far away, to avoid clumps or patchiness), and allow for a few hours between coats. The instructions are on the can. Also, I'd suggest the polish spray, to give the tint some shine after you apply it, otherwise, it looks a bit flat.

Thanks guys. One question, should'nt I have to sand it a bit tho to allow the paint to have some sort of texture to stick to? Won't the paint run cuz its a smooth surface? Does anyone have any pics of some smoked tails on a 4G?
No because if you sand it, the surface will lose its reflective property and your lights will look really dull. It is also a good idea to add a coat of clear coat after you apply the spray tint.
To prevent runs, lay them flat on the ground. Grass wouldn't be a bad idea, to provide the lights w/ some support, so they don't roll or tilt suddenly while you're spraying them. Whatever you do, don't rush the job, or it probably will look like dooky.
