smogging a 4th gen in AZ

hey everybody
i'm in the market for a used 4th gen from another state , and i want a modded so that i dont spend every penny i got on it after i buy it.
BUT...
1) with a lot of bolt ons, will it pass the smog test here in AZ? if not what can i do about it?
2)also, does the BMV care if its lowered with bigger wheels than stock or the bodykit
3) or if it sounds like hell?
i'm from an other country and i dont know whats going on regarding registering cars around here.
thnx in advance

Hey, im in AZ too where are you at? Im taking my car through emmisions in the next couple of days so I will let you know how it goes. I took it trough 2 years ago right before I put the supercharger on it - back then it had a header, Intake, and fuel rail on it , I had put my stock exhaust back on because it had the cat with it. I passed just fine then , so we will see how I do now with a fully built supercharged motor, lol I did put my stock exhaust back on though. Ill know in a couple of days , keep in touch.

I had no problems. My JDM H22A and USDM H23A1 both passed with flying colors. Just make sure you put a stock cat on and you'll be good to go.

Where are you at in AZ? Check out the regional forums.....couple AZ guys chat in the west forum.
