Smell of oil when I push my car hard...

As of late, whenever I push the car hard (vtec) for awhile, I smell oil burning, if i have the heat on.

That's odd that it's only when the heat is on...my friends' VTEC 4th gens burn oil when they VTEC a lot (doesn't matter if the heat is on)...it's mainly because their piston rings are starting to go....Only worry about it if you're starting to burn more than a quart every 3000 miles...

Hmm I dunno, mines burning alot of oil I think, I just rebuilt the engine and the engine has about 4500 km on it..... And I already did an oil change, but we'll see how much oil it burns now.... When I did the rebuild, I got the shop to bore and hone the block, and we put in honda oem rings.....

So everything SHOULD be ok, but who knows.

H22a's are notorious for oil consuption, even when rebuilt and properly broken in. It's just a fact of life.

That'd be a cool license plate: VTEC CLOUD, even though it's way too many letters.
