Sluggish running H22a vtec

hi guys had anyone experienced this with theyre h22a Vtec prelude (vtir australian version)? ive just started to notice that my car seems to be very sluggish from the first 1000 gs up to 3000 gs when i change into a new gear and then slowly picks up to about 5000 where the vtec sensors kick in. the only word i can use to decribe how its driving lately is sluggish, its done 90,000km serviced evey 5,000km, anyone got any ideas?

I haven't experienced anything like this with my car, but it could be something fairly simple.

It could be some bad gas, or it's in need of a tune-up (plugs, wires, cap rotor, air filter), or even a clogged fuel filter.

Hope that helps.

Mark
