The slickness is clear through the roof

...or should I say, through the clear roof. Except for a few scratches. Glass sunroof mod!

^^Still have to find a way to cover up those visible bolts.

-Dan

P.S. Credit to ISIPrelude94 on SuperHonda.com for the write-up and to PreludeSerge on Honda-Tech.com for selling me the panel from one of his salvaged 5gens.

P.P.S. My phone takes pictures kinda greenish.

If so, it would slide out behind the roof itself. The 4g sunroof is almost as big as the whole roof.
If it were above the headliner it would probably run into the motor. The 5g has one, but the motor is farther back on those.

Who knows, maybe I could hook up a rolling one, like the slide projector screens they have in classrooms.

I picked it up from a dude on H-T who has some salvage 5gens for $50. That's probably the lowest they come. I still have all the 5g roof hardware, sliding tracks etc. laying around. If you want one, PM red92s, he has a slightly modified one.

Are the 5g sunroof panels tinted? Does the sun get bright and/or annoying coming through the top now?

Its tinted - but sunlight does get through a little too much for my taste. To cover up the bolts - just buy the 5th gen covers on hondaautomotiveparts.com

Good idea.

I don't really mind the sun coming through; if it's a sunny day, I'm wearing my sunglasses anyway, and that's enough.
